Shari Hinz ~ Baby Luv Boutique

Shari Hinz is the owner of Baby Luv Boutique, an online business based near Humboldt, Saskatchewan. Shari founded the business in December 2006 to provide families with modern baby and body care solutions that are natural, economical, educational and environmentally friendly.

Cloth diapers are a specialty at Baby Luv Boutique -- so much so that Shari has been offering public workshops since June 2008 on the benefits of choosing cloth diapers.  Assisting just one family at a time can add up to a large benefit for our planet and a family's pocketbook. To date Shari estimates Baby Luv Boutique has helped eliminate over 750,000 disposable diapers from going into the landfill by helping close to 150 families get started using cloth diapers.

Hinz has an extensive business background along with a decade of parenting experience, including nine years of cloth diaper experience. Her background in business and experience as a parent helps to provide a great deal of practical knowledge to clients and to offer the best service and high-quality products they seek.

"Our goal is to inspire families to choose products that are natural and healthy for baby, the whole family and the Earth!" Shari says. "All parents want to provide the best care for their children and trying to find quality products to meet those everyday needs can be a challenge. I try to help make these decisions easier for parents."

Shari has been nominated for the 2009 Savvy Mom Entrepreneur, of the Year Award and Baby Luv Boutique was a finalist for Business of the Year at the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce Mark of Excellence Awards in February 2010. Baby Luv Boutique is a member of the Humboldt and District Chamber of Commerce as well as the Real Diaper Industry Association (RDIA). Shari currently serves on the Retailer Certification Committee of the RDIA which is assisting in the development of a Retailer Certification Program within the cloth diapering industry.
